Aaron's two big obsessions, up until now, has been Thomas (and ALL his friends) and The Wiggles. Now, we have something to add to the list - Excavators.
When we're in the car and we :
A) See one: He lets out an excited squeal and yells out "Excavator!"
B) Don't see one: He repeats "Where is the excavator?" every 2 seconds until we see one.
We found this little bobcat parked down the street from us and it was good enough to serve as an "excavator" for Aaron. He loved it up there but we didn't have any problems getting him down.
As his itchy little hands were fiddling around with everything, they happened to press the horn. A LOUD one. That got him down nice and quick!

What a great story and picture! Aaron has lived every young man's dream...well...every *very* young man's dream, anyhow. Did you have to change his diaper after he found the horn?

So fun to capture a great moment! I wish I could have that kind of obsession..He could have mine...chocolate>Coke..I try to get myself scared of it, but no matter what I hear...I eat..drink anyways!!

Once again I find myself shaking my head because my guy loves Thomas, The Wiggles and ANYTHING CONSTRUCTION RELATED! :)

That's hilarious! And the shot should be framed and hung in his room. It's so funny, the things kids obsess about.
Another of our PSF friends posted about lineworker guys and now we have here excavators! I commented there as well that as a speech therapist I love that these little guys are learning so much vocabulary from Thomas and others. I love it that you allowed a life experience to match what he knows from his story books and movies! Kudos to you language master!!!
I'm coming to where you live and have you take ME around. Aaron is having too much fun.
That's great and even better that getting off was easy as well. My daughter is obsessed with diggers. She would love to be able to sit on one.

I think it's HILARIOUS that he calls them excavators!!! Gotta love little boys and their toys!
