Photostory Friday - Bold Steps

PhotoStory Friday
Hosted by Cecily and MamaGeek

We're getting there. Slowly but surely, we have had progress with the toilet training. This week, we have been taking bold steps out of the house - diaperless. A couple of times, it was because the mother was a little forgetful and forgot to put one on the toddler. However, the important point is that there were no accidents (until this morning).

Aaron has been able to call out for all his No. 1s so far. And, he has been willing for other people, apart from me, to take him. He's gone to the mensroom with my father several times now and has taken to calling himself a 'Good Man' after each successful visit.

This photo was taken at the exact moment that a No. 2 accident was taking place. Usually, I can tell by looking at his eyes that something is about to happen but because of that too-big-cap, I didn't see it coming. Thankfully, we were the only people at the park. I'll spare you the details but I do have to mention that the two of us were a perfectly calm team in the aftermath cleanup operation.

See now THIS, THIS is a photo story. Aaron is making good strides at training I'd say for his age! Kudos!! Our little guy just started a few weeks ago and so far, he likes the novelty of it - but apparently not enough to actually GO!

I love that shot too!

Aw! I love this picture. Congrats on taking those big steps to leave the house without diapers or pullups. I'm not as brave as you are.

Ah, yes...the telltale squat. I remember it well. Now it's my children that get to worry about it, bwa-ha-ha!!!! But it's a big milestone, and I'm glad Aaron is doing so well.

Oh my god, hilarious! That you caught him mid-squat like that without quite realizing WHAT he was doing! Silly. :-)

Without reading it, I was thinking that I really liked this one. Overcoming obstacles and all that stuff.

you are bold! Mine isn't any where near ready for that! He did the potty for three weeks about two months ago and the novelty has DEFINITELY worn off. Great story.

Caption should be -
Mom says, "Hey Aaron, you gotta take a dump?"
Aarons reply, "Not anymore!"

Ha, that was a great photo story. As soon as I read no diapers, I said oh no.

I'm wih MG...photo story perfection!!

Potty training is HARD. I've been through it twice and to be honest, this third time around, when it comes, I am NERVOUS. I really really stink at potty training. Really.
