Aaron's first trip to the barber

It only costs RM 5 (USD 1.50) for Aaron to go to the barber here in Ipoh. This is my father's regular guy and for adults its RM 12. My brother also stopped by here for a haircut last week. The both of them came back looking decent so we all went along to let Aaron have his first haircut by a professional.

He was as still as a statue as he observed everything. Didn't even blink his eyes. That lasted for exactly half the haircut. The second half was all about exploration. Trying to see what the barber was doing, trying out all the other chairs, looking in the mirrors....you can imagine. The end result wasn't too bad, only a little lopsided.

I saw this at the side of the mirrors. What do you think its been brushing?!

Interesting to see a male barber. Although I still go to a guy barber he tells me it hard to get guys interested in barbering anymore. It's getting to be more and more females cutting hair at style shops.

Mike's right...here in the States, it's harder all the time to find a male barber. My barber is an elderly Korean lady. As for that brush...it looks more like it's been attacked by an insane barber!

that is too sweet. My girls sit in the bath and we wash their hair and then I cut it after combing it straight. It works and is a benefit to having girls with straight hair!

Does he stick the brush in his back pocket or something?

Kids are so cute when they're observing new things.

Hi Amanda. Found your blog through GJ Jakarta. I also have a two year old with his very precious terrible two moments :), and doesn't like the idea of having his hair cut either! I read the post of the No.2 accident at the park! LOL. We are not even close to toilet training!
