Here is another one of those tips that I read from the baby sleep books. Although I had tried it before when Aaron was a newborn, it didn't seem to work then. I tried it again this week and for several days now, his morning naps have been 90 mins instead of 45 mins.
After I feed him, I stay there until he falls asleep, then I leave my shirt behind!

It is weird that your olfactory is still functioning on a passive mode when you are snoozing....
It's the same idea that we used to use when we had to ship our dog in a kennel on overseas trips - each of us would put an article of our clothing in the kennel with her, and the smell was comforting. On a basic level, we're all really animals and we use all of our senses. Why else to women spend so much on perfumes?
I LOVE IT!!!!! SO SWEET
That is a trick that I used with Princess H. I had to go to Chicago on a business trip when she was 6 months old. My shirt and frozen breast milk kept her managable. Me? I was a wreck.
My mom tried that with me when she thought I missed the confinement lady, only did she know YEARS later that I have problems breathing and that's the reason why I kept crying in the middle of the night. Years later i.e. a few years ago. Glad it's working with Aaron. Try giving him two shirts next time. He might sleep double the time! :-D
